TradeTools wanted to modernise their ecommerce engine while preserving a strong headless customer experience. We transitioned the backend to BigCommerce, kept the existing headless PWA frontend, and strengthened ERP integration so pricing, stock, and order history stay accurate and consistent.

They needed an online experience that matched their service and expertise, while keeping the technology flexible and maintainable.

What we did

We moved TradeTools’ backend ecommerce to BigCommerce while preserving their existing headless PWA frontend, which reduced delivery effort compared to a full rebuild.

Integrated tightly with Pronto ERP for live inventory, pricing, account information, loyalty status, and full order history for both online and in store purchases.
Built shipping logic for a wide range of scenarios, including big and bulky items like air compressors up to 800kg, consumables, dangerous goods, and indent or pre order items.
Used BigCommerce hosting to reduce the ongoing security and maintenance load, keeping focus on improvements.
